Sophie Dupuis is a violin, piano, theory, ear training and composition teacher. She has been teaching private, group, and ensemble lessons for 18 years to individuals from ages four to adulthood. Her goal as a music instructor is to help students work towards their personal goals in a fun and nurturing environment.
She adapts her teaching to the needs of each student while promoting the use of good technique to facilitate execution and prevent injuries. She has a friendly and positive attitude and keeps her lessons upbeat.
Sophie is also an award-winning composer, a freelance performer and the President of the Canadian League of Composers, a national advocacy organization for music creators.
