Camp Overview
Looking for a fun and creative summer activity? At Nepean School of Music’s Summer Music Camp, children ages 7 to 11 get hands-on exposure to a variety of musical styles, instruments, and performance arts in a supportive, inclusive environment.
No prior musical experience is required—just curiosity and creativity!
What Campers Will Experience
- Instrument Discovery: Strings, percussion, and rhythm instruments
- Creative Crafts: Make your own instruments
- Vocal Exploration: Learn vocal warm-ups, harmonies, and solo confidence
- Digital Music Tools: Use apps like GarageBand to create beats and loops
- Stage Presence: Express yourself with movement, posture, and presentation
- Musical Composition: Try songwriting or co-writing with camp friends
- Collaboration: Group music projects and rehearsals
- Final Family Showcase: A performance on Friday to share their creations!
