Clara’s passion for music started with piano at 7 years old. In elementary and high school she also explored her love of singing and was an active member of her school choirs. While studying in college, Clara began her teaching journey, with a focus on working with children. It was at this time that she developed an interest in sharing her passions with children and teaching them various skills.
During her Master’s studies, Clara took a course on how to engage children in the learning environment, to encourage their participation, to reach their potential, and to help them discover their interests and strengths. Currently, Clara is enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College.
Clara believes that music is a helpful tool for children in a learning environment and that music is beneficial for students of all ages. As a passionate and dedicated teacher, she looks forward to sharing her love of the piano with all of her students.
Clara can teach in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
