Yin has been a vocal & piano teacher since 2015. While studying voice, her genre of focus was pop music, however Yin loves exploring other genres with her students.
Yin is a caring and passionate musician and teacher. She aims to approach all of her students in a friendly, non-critical way to help them gain confidence to work on their weaknesses while continuing to thrive with their strengths. Once she recognizes individual needs she creates a specialized curriculum for each student.
To enhance her skills as a music teacher, Yin attended Algonquin College to study early childhood education. With these credentials she is an excellent fit for younger, beginner students, but she also has experience and enjoys working with students of all ages.
Yin can teach in English, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin.
